Evapotranspiration

In meteorology, evapotranspiration is the sum of transpiration - and evaporation, i.e. the total amount of water evaporated in the flora and fauna as well as in the soil and water surfaces. The evapotranspiration value plays an important role in agriculture and horticulture as well as in hydrology and is used, among other things, to calculate global water demand.
