Reach
The regulation of registration REACH is a European Union regulation.
REACH addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment. It has been described as the most complex legislation in the Unions history. It is the strictest law regulating chemical substances. REACH entered into force on 01 June 2007. The legislation was proposed under dual reasoning protection of human health and protection of the environment. The REACH system is based on the "no data" "no market" principle. Only registered chemical substances can be placed on the market.
